I ordered this coat at the last minute because a camping trip is planned months before happened to coincide with one of the strongest winter storms to hit my area in a while. I’d been looking forward to it, so I decided to go anyways. I was toasty around camp and stuffed it in my pack for a day hike. I took a break in the middle and put it back on and warmed up standing in the sun like a lizard. I bought it to be warmed, not packable, and it definitely isn’t. It’s bulky does does what it claims to do. I tested it down to 15° and never higher than about 26° while outdoors for three days. Would recommend. One star off for bulk, but it never claimed to be.

Braving the Artic Blast in the Midwest

Bought this jacket for my husband. He had one like it previously and wore it constantly whenever he went out in the cold or rain. He loved it so much that is was getting a little worn. When I saw the same jacket on sale, decided to get him a new one in a beautiful blue. I was surprised that it didn't have the removal liner, making his old one a bit bulky. The new jacket was lined on the sides and back with the insulating cells, which appear to have done a superior job of replacing the old liner. Going through a massive winter storm with minus temps and snow, it's getting a great test of how well it keeps him warm. He's pleased and so am I! Thanks so much.
