Lid on 18 oz

I bought this a few months ago, as I have another one that I love. The new lid top design is horrible. It keeps opening up if I drop it on the table or it tips over. It opens up and all the liquid falls out. My five year-old flask can literally drop on the concrete outside, bounce off the floor and it’s still closed. Did they redesigned these tops?
