Nice jacket for the price, not perfect for me.
The quality of the jacket is nice, but some of the design features aren't quite ideal for my purposes the jacket itself feels a bit clammy against the skin - it's not at all breathable. Anywhere it touches my skin gets sweaty and the jacket sticks to my skin. If the weather is warmer, you will sweat and it will stick to you. I would compare it to an inexpensive alternative by another outdoor company that makes a model of rain gear called the precipice. For the price, it seems like and an expensively made rain jacket Does it do the job of keeping you dry? I would say that it does. That's why I'm not giving it a completely negative review. The quality of the jacket itself seems just OKAY. The main problem I have with this jacket is that it is not breathable at all. The secondary I have, which is also very subjective and dependent on each individual, is that it's not terribly comfortable. It's not UNcomfortable, it's just not ideal for me. The ends of the sleeves aren't straight. Meaning, they're longer on the top and they are on the bottom. For my purposes that isn't ideal. Plus, the sleeves are a little long - although that's definitely better than short. Again, that's not necessarily a product issue, that's probably just my genetics. Also, the jacket when zipped all the way up seems to come up a bit high for my purposes. It actually fits quite comfortably over my chin when zipped up all the way, but I purchased it for for work and for me to wear it zipped up completely is uncomfortable, and partially unzipped is slightly even more uncomfortable. I feel like in an outdoor scenario this might not be such a problem.
