great jacket, consider height when ordering!

Mostly leaving this review to describe fit; if you are on the short side, like me (159cm/5'3"), you may find this jacket quite long in the arms/torso. I was over the edge for XS measurements in the size guide and originally ordered a small as a result. This was way too long; hip pad reinforcement would be nowhere near where my pack would sit, even the hood was finicky with the length as it was, and arms were roomy (width and length). I ordered an extra-small and it fits perfectly aside from being a bit snug at the hips (two-way front zipper helps with this, though!) otherwise, the constructions feels durable and I am feeling ready to be rained upon~

Excellent Rain Jacket

Finally a great rain jacket! No PFAs, and no more rain soaking through! I am usually a size M, but the Columbia AI suggested a L and it was right. I am 5'10", 170lbs athletic build. It has room for a sweater, doesn't make a big bell shape on me and is long enough for my monkey arms. The under arm zippers are great for cooling you off but still keeping dry.
