zipper separated when I tried it on

I was looking for a spring/fall jacket for Michigan – one that would work in 40-65 degree weather, with a hood and be able to withstand blustery winds that make it feel 5- -10 degrees colder, as well as rain showers that can suddenly arise when you’re out on a walk away from your house or car. So, I ended up buying five jackets while on sale – Hydroforce Full Zip Hoodie, Hikebound II Insulated Jacket, Arctic Peak Full Zip Fleece, Ascender II Hooded Softshell Jacket, and Glennaker II Sherpa Lined Jacket - to see which one would work for me. Unfortunately, none of them did. I’ve left reviews under each of them. Arctic Peak Hooded Full Zip Fleece – I wanted to find out how well the Omni Heat Arctic worked.. But when I put it on, the zipper immediately separated and when I put it back together, it separated again. So, I never really was able to see how well it fit. It seemed like it was a more active fit (although the website said that it was a regular fit). I probably got a bad unit, but given that this was brand new jacket, it doesn’t bode well for its durability. So, this one went back.
