I live in SD. We get to Negative numbers, this Coat is amazingly warm. I'm very grateful for it. I did go up in size when I bought it. Gives me room. Plus if I need a sweatshirt or something heavier under it.

Great coat, but snug on bottom

This coat felt very warm upon trying it on. Love the faux fur hood, and the colour is lovely. I like the band across the back to give it a fitted look. However, I do notice will all the OMNIheat coats in the heavier design that the bottom part of the coat is snug across the legs. When I button the bottom button it almost feels too snug, but yet it is still plenty roomy at top. Not sure why Columbia is doing it with these coats. I decided to keep the coat anyway because the last one I ordered in a different style had the issue much worse and each time I have to return it's another shipping fee and wait time. Columbia, please fix this issue with your heavier winter coats. Several people I know also commented on this issue.
