I took this jacket to Europe for three weeks and put it through what I can only describe as a comprehensive stress test — part outdoor adventure, part meteorological experiment, part accidental beverage research. Giants Causeway in sideways rain? Handled it. Belfast streets at a brisk “I have no idea where I’m going” pace? No problem. Scottish Highlands with wind that has opinions? This jacket had opinions right back. But here’s where it gets interesting. Between the actual hiking, I also subjected it to the rigorous conditions of an outdoor beer festival and — because Scotland — a gin festival. Multiple spills. Wiped it off. Looked fine. I honestly can’t say the same for myself. The packing situation is equally impressive. Under an airplane seat. Stuffed in a backpack. Tied around my waist like I was 14 years old at an amusement park. It just… didn’t care. Pulled it out every time ready to wear, no wrinkles, no drama. Zero complaints — unlike my cheap carry-on bag. The zipper deserves its own paragraph. When those Atlantic squalls come in fast (and they come in fast), you don’t have time for a zipper that requires negotiation. This one zips like it means it. One motion, done, dry. Pockets are genuinely large. Large enough that I became the group’s unofficial sherpa for wallets, extra layers, snacks, and — I’m not saying what else — things that matter. Perfect medium weight. Not too hot, not too light. Just relentlessly useful. Buy it. Take it hiking, or to Scotland. Don’t worry about the gin.

Not your average boring raincoat!

This rain jacket is great! It does not fit snug plenty of room in event you are wearing a sweat shirt underneath and the stylish color will most definitely stand out! Highly recommend!
